Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. ROInmuebles uses technical cookies, those needed for the website to work or to remember what you choose, and cookie-free analytics. In addition, only if you accept them in the cookie notice, Google and Meta set advertising cookies to measure our ads. Technical cookies don’t need your consent (article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI); advertising cookies do: if you don’t accept them, they aren’t loaded.
Technical cookies (always on)
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | ROInmuebles (Supabase) | Keep you signed in to your account. | Until you sign out (renews itself) |
sb-…-auth-token-code-verifier | ROInmuebles (Supabase) | Check the sign-in link we email you. | A few minutes |
NEXT_LOCALE | ROInmuebles | Remember the language you choose (Spanish or English). | 1 year |
roinm_inicio | ROInmuebles | Remember your answers to the roinmuebles.com/inicio survey, so we show you your page straight away if you come back through that link. | 6 months |
Paddle’s own | Paddle | Only on the payment page: the payment form runs in a Paddle frame, which uses its own technical cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. | As set by Paddle |
What we store in your browser (local storage)
These aren’t cookies, but they work in a similar way. They stay in your browser and we don’t send them anywhere.
| Name | Purpose |
|---|---|
roinm_tema | The theme you choose (dark or light). |
roinm_modo | Whether you use the calculator in simple or advanced mode. |
roinm_borrador_vivienda, roinm_borrador_terreno | The calculator draft, so you don’t lose what you typed. |
roinm_zona_terreno | That we already offered you your last searched area in the land calculator. |
roinm_aviso_inicio, roinm_aviso_visto | Only during your visit: when it started and that we already showed you the “Create your free account” notice, so we don’t repeat it. |
roinm_visita_anuncio | Only during your visit: that you came from one of our ads, so we don’t show you the “Create your free account” notice. |
mapbox.… | Technical map data (Mapbox), so that it loads and its use is billed correctly. |
roinm_cookies | What you chose in the cookie notice (accept or reject advertising) and when, so we don’t ask you again for 12 months. |
roinm_alta_medida | Only if you accept advertising: that we already counted your new account as a result of an ad, so we don’t count it twice. |
Advertising cookies (only if you accept them)
They are set by Google and Meta through their tag and pixel, which only load if you accept them. They tell us which ads bring us visits, accounts and payments, and let us show you our ads. What is sent is that you viewed a ROInmuebles page and, if it happens, that you created an account, left your email, opened the checkout or paid, with its price. Never your email, your name or your calculations.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au, _gcl_aw | Google (Google Ads) | Know whether you came from one of our ads on Google and whether you then created an account, left your email or paid. | 90 days |
Google’s own on its domains (google.com, doubleclick.net), such as IDE | Measure ads and show you ours on Google and other websites. | Up to 13 months | |
_fbp | Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Know whether you came from one of our ads on Instagram or Facebook and whether you then created an account, left your email or paid, and show you our ads. | 90 days |
_fbc | Meta | Remember the ad you clicked (only if you arrive from one). | 90 days |
Meta’s own on its domains (facebook.com, instagram.com), such as fr | Meta | Measure and show ads, if you are signed in to Facebook or Instagram in your browser. | Up to 90 days |
Google and Meta decide how they use that data and may transfer it to the United States (under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Their policies explain it: Google and Meta.
How to change your choice
Under “Cookie settings”, at the bottom of every page, or right here. If you withdraw consent, the tags stop measuring and we delete the advertising cookies on roinmuebles.com; the ones Google and Meta keep on their own domains are deleted from your browser settings or your Google or Meta account.
Cookie-free analytics
To know which pages are visited and which parts of the website are used most (and to detect errors) we use Vercel Analytics and PostHog (with servers in the European Union). Both work without cookies and without storing anything in your browser: they count visits with an anonymous code that changes every day and only give aggregate figures, without identifying you.
How to delete them
You can delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings. If you delete the session cookie, you’ll have to sign in to your account again. If you delete what you chose in the cookie notice, we will ask you again.
